Managing Director Nicko Goncharoff has more than 25 years' experience across all aspects of creating, growing and running software, data and information businesses in the scholarly research and publishing sectors. Much of that has involved AI and data-mining driven products and services.
Previous roles include Managing Director for Business Development, Greater China at Clarivate, and nine years at Digital Science, where he managed several portfolio businesses, established and ran the publisher relations team, and led the company's entry in the China market.
Nicko spent ten years living and working in the Greater China region and is fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and can speak conversational Cantonese. He is based in Scotland but can frequently be found in Beijing and Shanghai (pandemics permitting).
